Is your content visible without JavaScript?
We fetch your page the way an AI crawler does and measure what is already in the HTML before any script runs.
How it works
- 1
We fetch the raw HTML
One request, no JavaScript, the same view GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot get.
- 2
We measure what is there
Word count, headings, links, an empty app container, and framework signatures such as Next.js, React, Vue or Angular.
- 3
We estimate what only appears later
We look for text that sits in hydration data but not in the visible HTML. This is an estimate: we do not run a headless browser, and the report says so.
Why it matters for AI search
Most AI crawlers fetch HTML and stop. If your headline, pricing or product copy is added by JavaScript, those crawlers see an empty shell and have nothing to quote. Googlebot renders JavaScript, which is why this problem hides in normal SEO checks.
Frequently asked questions
Do AI crawlers run JavaScript?
Most do not. GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot are documented or observed to fetch HTML without executing scripts. Googlebot does render JavaScript.
Is this a real rendered DOM comparison?
No. We do not run a headless browser. The result is a heuristic based on the raw HTML and its hydration data, and the tool labels it that way.
My site uses Next.js. Am I fine?
Often yes, if pages are server-rendered or statically generated. Pages that fetch their main content in the browser after load are not.
How do I fix a client-rendered page?
Use server-side rendering, static generation or a prerender service so the main content ships in the first HTML response.
