GetBotRank ("we", "our", or "us"), owned and operated by HIMANSHU SINGH, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website and AI auditing services.

2. Data Collection

We collect minimal data necessary to provide our services:

• Email address (for account creation and billing).
• Website URLs submitted for audit.
• IP addresses and basic browser metadata for security and spam prevention.
• Payment information (processed securely through third-party providers like Stripe).

3. Use of Data

Your data is used to:

• Generate and store your AEO and GEO audit reports.
• Manage your scan credits and billing.
• Improve our AI simulation models and auditing logic.
• Protect our platform from automated exploitation.

4. Data Retention

We retain your audit results for as long as your account is active. To protect your privacy, we offer full data portability. You can delete your account and all associated audit data at any time through your profile settings. Billing records are retained as required by law for financial reporting.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with essential service providers (e.g., Supabase for database hosting, Vercel for application hosting, and AI providers like OpenAI and Anthropic for audit processing) under strict confidentiality agreements.

6. Chrome Extension

The GetBotRank Content Intelligence Chrome extension collects and processes the following data:

• Selected content: Text and metadata from webpage elements you explicitly select for analysis. This data is sent to our API solely to fulfill your analysis request and is never collected passively.
• Screenshots: Images of selected elements, captured only when you click "Capture Visual Context." Screenshots are never taken automatically.
• Account data: Your email address and authentication tokens used to identify your account and manage your credit balance.
• Local storage: Your session token is stored locally in Chrome storage to keep you logged in. No browsing history or page content is stored locally.

The extension requires the following permissions to function: activeTab (screenshot capture), scripting (element picker injection), storage (session persistence), sidePanel (extension UI), identity and cookies (authentication), and broad host permissions to operate on any page you choose to analyze. No data is collected from pages unless you explicitly trigger an action.

Analysis results are saved to your account and accessible from your dashboard. You may delete them at any time from your profile settings.
