Introducing a Free, No-Signup AI Visibility Check

Run a free instant check for the structural issues keeping AI crawlers from reading your site - no account required, full report by email.

Most "run a free audit" tools ask for your URL, run something in the background, and then dangle the results behind a signup wall you can't see the shape of yet. We wanted something you could actually use in the time it takes to read this sentence, so we built a free, no-signup AI visibility check: enter a URL and an email, and in a few seconds you get a score and a grade for how visible your page actually is to AI crawlers.

What it checks

The free tool runs the same deterministic, code-based analysis layer that sits underneath every paid GetBotRank audit - no LLM calls, nothing to meter, just facts about your page's markup:

  • Crawlability & renderability - is the page's real content in the initial HTML response, or does it only exist after JavaScript runs? Crawlers like GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot largely don't execute JavaScript, so a client-rendered shell is close to invisible to them.
  • Semantic structure - a single H1 and a clean, non-skipping heading hierarchy, the outline an AI crawler uses to understand what the page is actually about.
  • Structured data - any schema.org / JSON-LD present, which tells AI systems what the page represents without inferring it from prose.
  • AI crawler file - whether an llms.txt, llm.txt, or ai.txt file exists at your domain root, the emerging convention some AI crawlers check for guidance.
  • Meta completeness - title, meta description, canonical URL, Open Graph tags, and a viewport tag.

Two of these are treated as critical: a page that's rendered entirely client-side, or one marked noindex, gets its score capped hard regardless of how clean everything else is, because either one makes the rest of the analysis moot - the crawler never sees the page at all.

How it works

  1. Go to /free-audit and enter your site's URL and an email address.
  2. We scan the page - no signup, no credits spent.
  3. Your score and grade show up immediately on the page, along with how many issues we found.
  4. The full breakdown - every checklist item, why it matters, and how to fix it - lands in your inbox a moment later.

That's it. No dashboard to create, nothing to remember to check later.

Why free

This isn't a stripped-down trial of the paid product designed to make you upgrade out of frustration - it's a genuinely useful, complete answer to one specific question: "can AI crawlers actually read this page?" If the answer is yes across the board, great, you're done. If it flags something - most often a client-rendered SPA shell, which is by far the most common critical failure we see - that's real, actionable signal either way.

Where the paid full audit picks up is everything the deterministic layer can't measure: multi-model content-quality scoring, ongoing monitoring so you know the moment a score drops, and the MCP server that lets Claude or another coding agent pull an audit's issues straight into its own context and fix them.

Try it

Head to getbotrank.com/free-audit, drop in a URL, and see where you stand. If it turns up something worth digging into further, that's exactly what the full audit is for.

Frequently asked questions

Is the free AI visibility check actually free?

Yes. It doesn't require a signup, a credit card, or any GetBotRank credits. Enter a URL and an email address, and the scan runs immediately.

How is this different from a full GetBotRank audit?

The free check only runs deterministic, code-based checks - no LLM is involved, so there's nothing to meter. A full audit adds multi-model (GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini) content-quality scoring on top of these structural signals, plus page monitoring over time.

Why do you need my email?

The full breakdown - every checklist item with why it matters and how to fix it - is sent to your inbox rather than shown on the page. The score and grade still show up immediately after you submit.
