Meta Tag Checker with Google, LinkedIn, X and WhatsApp Previews
Check your title, description, canonical, robots and social tags with character counts, and see four previews of the same page.
Titles and descriptions look like housekeeping until a link you shared shows up with no image, a cut-off headline, or the wrong page title.
Search engines and AI assistants both lean on your title and description when they summarise a page. Clear, accurate tags make it easier to describe you correctly. Social cards decide whether a shared link gets opened.
How to use it
- Enter a URL.
- We read the head of the page as a crawler sees it.
- Review the checks and the four previews: a Google result, a LinkedIn post, an X card and a WhatsApp link.
What the checks mean
- Title and description length. About 60 and 160 characters are safe budgets. Longer text gets cut in results.
- Canonical. Tells search engines which URL is the main one when several lead to the same page.
- Open Graph and Twitter tags.

Previews are close approximations built from your tags. Platforms change layouts and cache old cards, so use their own inspector tools to refresh after you make changes.
