IndexNow Submitter: Verify Your Key and Notify Search Engines
Set up IndexNow, verify your key file, and submit up to 100 URLs to Bing and other participating engines. We only submit after verification.
After you publish or change a page, search engines find out when they next crawl you, which can take days. IndexNow lets you tell them right away.
Bing powers parts of ChatGPT search and other assistants, and it supports IndexNow along with Yandex, Naver, Seznam and Yep. Google does not. Faster discovery on those engines means fresh content shows up sooner.
How to use it
- Enter your domain. Leave the key empty and we will suggest one.
- Create a text file at
https://yourdomain.com/<key>.txtcontaining only the key, then enter the key and press verify. - Once verified, add up to 100 URLs from your domain and press verify and submit.
What the checks mean
- Key file. Must be public and contain exactly the key, with no HTML or extra text.
- Same host. Every submitted URL must be on the domain you verified.
- Response 202. The request was accepted and key validation is pending. This is normal for new keys.
We never submit for a domain whose key file does not verify, and each domain is limited to a few submissions a day. Send only URLs that changed.
